Camera Accessories – Accelerate the Camera Performance
The third camera type in the marketplace is in the form of Digital Cameras, which don’t use film at all. Images are stored digitally in the camera’s internal memory, on removable memory cards, or floppy disks. These cameras can be connected directly to personal computers. Thus photographs can be easily transferred from the camera to the computer for storage, manipulation, or uploading to the Internet.
Parts of a Camera:
A camera consists of seven basic components: a viewfinder, a focusing mechanism, a shutter, an adjustable aperture, a lens, a body, and devices for controlling film alignment and advancement.
Accessories are available to elevate the performance and the comfort ability in use of the camera. These are items that are subordinate or supplementary. However they are desirable as they contribute to the overall effect of the main product.
Since digital camera is more widely used its accessories are widely available. They provide comfortable options to download the images. Therefore they are more widely used for tours and other special occasions by the non professionals. In such cases the camera battery is one accessory that is necessary to keep the camera active even in long journeys. The camera chargers are the angels in disguise in such long journeys, etc where you cannot solely rely on the camera battery. Another very important accessory of the cameras is its memory card. In parties and other occasions you may not be able to download the images from time to time. In such cases an extra memory card is the right accessory to help you out. The camera in order to perform well also needs an AV cable, data cable and power cable.
To improve and adjust the lens according to your need, the lens adapter is an important accessory. There other camera lenses apart from the main lens that are used according to the need. They may be telephoto or wide angle lens or any other lenses of varied measures or focal lengths. The camera flash, Digital Photo Frame, MP3 Player, Supports CompactFlash, Memory Stick, Microdrive, MultiMedia, and SD Memory Cards, Remote Control, Built-in Stereo Speakers, infrared lbs are all accessories that support and elevate the overall performance of the camera.
There are LCD screen protectors to keep the LCD screen scratch free. Speed rating cards are another important accessory used to accelerate the rate of both writing and reading images. Tripod stand is used to place the camera steady while capturing images.
To keep your camera safe from any external damage a case is necessary. However these days the cases that come in the market are not solely for protection but more for attraction. They are neatly and attractively designed to make the overall look all the more presentable. The cases may be made in leather or with different materials. Besides these days there are waterproof cases too.
Travel bag, wrist strap, shoulder bag, etc are the accessories used to carry the camera more comfortably.
There are thousands of general as well as online shops in the market where you can buy cameras & camera accessories and can get the more information on these products.

Digital Cameras – What Are Some of the Newer Features You Should Know About?
If you are in the market for a new digital camera and haven’t looked at them for awhile, you will be in for a surprise. It’s another world out there.
Super Zoom Digital Cameras
First of all, the super zoom digital cameras have become so much more powerful. Many will have a 24 optical zoom and some even go higher. Wow…what fun. The higher the zoom level the closer you can zoom in for sports, nature photography or anything else you want a closeup shot of.
Wide Angle Cameras
Wide angles have become wider also. While 35mm used to be the norm, you’ll now found 28mm to be pretty common. Some will go even wider than that. I am talking about regular point and shoot cameras, not digital SLR cameras with their own specialized lenses.
Noise Free High ISO Cameras
ISO settings have gone a lot higher too. 3200 ISO/ No problem. You can easily find cameras with this setting. The trick, however, is to choose one that will not create a lot of noise at the higher settings and now there are some that will do that.
Mega pixels
It’s so easy now to find both inexpensive and expensive cameras with a minimum of 10 megapixels and often 12. This is advantageous if you do a lot of cropping of your pictures, since many megapixels still remain for good detail and resolution.
Face Detection
Face Detection is something that many digital cameras offer. With this feature, a camera can detect a face, focus on it, and choose the best exposure. This comes in handy if you are photographing groups of people in particular.
Automatic Scene Settings
First there was just automatic mode. Then camera manufacturers created Scene modes, where you could choose which scene best matched what you were taking. For example, if you were shooting a landscape, you would choose landscape mode, and the camera automatically adjusted all the settings
Now there is Automatic Scene Mode. You don’t even have to choose the scene…the camera does it depending on what you are photographing!
Maybe next, we can just sit on our porch with a drink, look at something, and by voice command tell the camera to shoot!
Image Stabilization
To eliminate or reduce the effects of hand shake, look for a camera with image stabilization. It works to decrease or eliminate picture blur.
Video Recording
Being able to shoot video in still cameras has been around. However, now you can do so in high definition and play it on a big screen tv.
Many of these features have become run of the mill. You can find them in most of the newer cameras. In addition….
Digital SLR camera prices have come way down in price. You now get so much more in a camera for the same price that you used to pay. Hybrid cameras have appeared. These cameras are in between point and shoot cameras and DSLR cameras. They have interchangeable lenses but are much smaller and light weight.
Choose a camera based on the features you will be using most, or decide on one that has most of all the options above. This type of camera will not be hard to find and will not be too expensive either.

Comparing Digital Cameras and Digital Camera Reviews
If you are going to buy a digital camera for yourself, to compare different digital cameras is a must for you. It will make your buying simple as well as less time consuming. If you want to know a few basic guidelines for drawing fair comparisons between a plethora of options available in the market, read the article. It will definitely help you make the best deal for you.
There are many factors that make a particular camera better or worse for you. The pixels, optical, memory, camera size, digital zoom and cost of various digital cameras should be compared well before picking any camera. The important task is to put through a sieve all the hype and get the best digital camera suiting your needs.
But before you start comparing the features of different cameras, it is important for you to make certain basic decisions. They are related to identifying your basic needs and prerequisites for the camera. Decide on why you need a digital camera. The purpose should be well-defined. Ask yourself, is it for taking candid snapshots or for serious photography. If you are buying the camera for clicking pictures for an exhibition or a photo website, the criterion of purchase will definitely change. There are different sizes of models that include compact, miniature and big size cameras. Be clear about the size you need to buy.
Then you may start comparing the specific features of the digital camera. You can compare the quantity and quality of the pixel. The more the pixels in the camera, the clearer and quality pictures it would produce. The pixels are nothing but tiny squares of color and light. Thus to get the best camera, you should have the best pixel quality. The sensor of the camera can be called as its eye. Generally, the digital cameras with larger sensors have better quality diodes, which result in sharp and clear pictures.
You should also compare the digital camera on the grounds of its memory. All the digital photographs require the storage capacity of several megabytes. You should compare the capacity of built-in memory of the digital camera. You should certainly go for the one with more battery capacity. A general guidance principle is to have a battery with at least 256 to 512MB of memory. It is important to check the memory compatibility while comparing the digital cameras.
You can also compare the SLR digital camera with compact digital camera. There are many features that you may find in a compact digital camera but not in the SLR digital camera. It can also be vice versa.
The SLR cameras are big cameras, efficient in producing clear, sharp and quite colourful images. While the compact cameras are very small in size and can be slipped in to your jeans pocket quite comfortably. They may not compete well with the SLR digital cameras when you compare their features. But, their size is the feature, which is the major attraction for purchase to many users. When you would compare the working and results of both of these cameras, you can decide as to which one suits the best to your needs.
There are more features that should be compared before buying a digital camera. Optical zoom is much better than digital zoom. Compare the speed of the shutter, time taken to start up, the level of manual override and how instant is the auto focus of the camera.
Keep these things in your mind before the purchase. I am quite sure that you will make the best-for-you pick, prior comparing various digital options. Happy Shopping, for happy digital Clicking!

Digital Cameras : Both For Professionals As Well As Novice Users
However, with the advent of Digital Cameras the age old SLR’s have almost become extinct. The SLR Digital Cameras are high mega pixel cameras that provide excellent picture quality. In fact, it also has special options like self cleaning sensors that cleans dust and airflow system to remove dust from the sensors. You are no longer required to clean it manually. Other than this, almost all latest SLR Digicams have d-lighting options, stop motion recording as well as expeed image processing concept. The expeed option helps in better image processing. It is much more user friendly and has less buttons to assist easy operations by novice users. Infact some SLR’s have also come up with enhanced technology that has both manual as well as automatic options. Now, you can get full experience of both professional photography as well as easy automatic operations. What makes it unique is that it can be used by both general users as well as photographers. It does not limit your creativity and opens a wide array of options for you to experiment with your skills. SLR’s are best suited for wildlife photography to capture fast movements with better high resolution zooming effect.
Other than the SLR’s, there are various other latest digital cameras that have proved very user-friendly for non professional users, who may only require to capture festival celebrations, a summer trip etc. For such activities, an above average camera with automatic features are best suited. All you need to do is click the button and everything else gets set automatically. These devices save time as well as energy. The users need not worry about the light condition or the aperture of shutter speed. However, the bitter side is that, these cameras limit the users creativity. With these devices, you would never come to know the actual meaning, the essence and the passion behind photography. Most of the latest Digicams are small in size and have come up with smaller batteries. Hence it has become easy to carry them. They are supported by high quality batteries like AA, CR-V3, CR2 and AAA.
