Not much to complain about (except the price)....
Owned a D3 for one and a half years and traded in for the D3x after trying out the new model for a day. My review is not about price - for the record I think Nikon stretched the barrier on the price point for this which I am not happy about - but as far as performance goes I am happy. The D3x results is are perceptibly superior for landscape and macro photography - which is what I typically shoot - even on just A3+ prints.... so I can imagine that the results would be that much better for larger .... Cost not a priority?
I own a D300 and have not as yet tried to see how large a print with fine resoulution I can make with it. I would expect about 24 inches. If you are a professional doing portraits you would want to have the ability to double that. If you want to rant - go do a blog!
If you only want to rant about the price of something, make a You tube video or start a blog. This rating is supposed to be a rating of the camera. Since you do not own it, your opinion is worthless and totally unhelpful. Now, if you buy one and its performance is not where it should be, go for it, complain all over this review site, I would encourage it. In fact, I would love to hear about it. If it is great... and even better than the 1DS Mark III, then Nikon Priced it at the same level as the .... Read more

Such divine insight...
from those who don't even own this camera. If one feels Nikon must "get a clue", then I await for your reviews of Leicas and Hassleblad's with your recommendations for them to "get a clue" as well.
While we are at it... let us add Ferrari and Maybach to this list as they have "No clue"

As for the other reviewer....Ken Rockwell huh? Wow.. I am most impressed. I think I met him once. I was in church and kneeling before the alter there was a great white light that blinded me. .... Read more
